Introduction

Hello Unqualified Investors and welcome to UQinvest.com!

If you’re here then I know you’re either on your way or getting ready to set sail on your own investing journey. After years of struggling as a self proclaimed trader I knew I was in desperate need of a change. I was wasting precious time watching my portfolio go up and down without any real meaningful growth.

So, one night as I poured through my data to uncover where I was going wrong I found what I was looking for all along, exchange traded funds (ETF’s). I couldn’t believe that in all the trading I was doing, my few ETF investments just seemed to chug right along. At that point, I decided ETF’s were for me and I got to work building the Unqualified Investors portfolio. If your story is similar to mine or if you’re simply looking for a stable path forward, please read along.

Before we go too far, as you’re reading this right now the world is probably on fire! Honestly, things are bad out there and only seem to be getting worse. Risking money in the market right now sounds down right foolish and waiting for a time when, “things are better” probably makes sense. However, from someone who has missed out on literally thousands of dollars, I can attest there really is no better time than now.

With that, below you’ll find my Unqualified portfolio since inception and how it’s holding up against the S&P 500. I believe these investments provide an excellent mix of every conceivable benefit I’m seeking. Growth, value, mid cap, small cap, and even some safety nets because who knows, tomorrow the next financial crisis may begin.
